As as mixed ability club, training is organised in packs to allow everyone to train at a suitable level. This also provides a means of progression where runners can start off in a slower pack and then, after a few months of training, may feel able to move up to the next, faster pack.
Our main training nights are Mondays and Thursdays, although we also have an increasingly popular track session on Wednesdays. Further details of the location and time of training are given in the table below.
Our training is varied, consisting of a mixture of endurance, speed and strength sessions. We try to keep all types of session going throughout the year, only changing the emphasis depending on where we are in the season. The main racing season is October to March.
