As as mixed ability club, training is organised in packs to allow everyone to train at a suitable level. This also provides a means of progression where runners can start off in a slower pack and then, after a few months of training, may feel able to move up to the next, faster pack.

Our main training nights are Mondays and Thursdays for seniors and we also have an increasingly popular Tuesday Couch to 5k session for beginners.

Pre-register for each senior training session (Monday & Thursday) via the menu on the club Blog where details of the session for that night and the list of which training group/pack you have been assigned to are given. For first time attendees, just turn up on your fitst night and we will get your details to set you up on the registration database. We start the session at 19:30 at East Kilbride Sports Club, Calderglen Country Park, East Kilbride.
Our training is varied, consisting of a mixture of endurance, speed and strength sessions. We try to keep all types of session going throughout the year, only changing the emphasis depending on where we are in the season. The main racing season is October to March.
